Principales responsabilités


Mission :

To set-up, manage and govern the Technology part of the complex SAP implementation program in close collaboration with IT, Business and Third Party Stakeholders. 

Responsibilities :

  • Defines and manages technicaldomainof SAP Platform including the ownership of all the subject areas defined in scope of the domain
  • Defines work packages, monitors and tracks progress and budget (man days)
  • Develops strong relationship with other stakeholders (Group IT I&O, Project management team, Cross functional team, DV IT Leads) to develop the technical SAP platform strategy for the group assuring that it fits in the overall IT architecture and to execute it along the program timeline
  • Manages SI and SAP involved in the work-stream and holds accountable for technical outputs, at a sufficiently detailed level
  • Manages the team of technical SME’s (Basis administration, development lead, technical architect, integration specialist, etc.) and oversees work performed by them
  • Collaborates with other stakeholders on testing, migration, cut-over strategy
  • Identifies and manages risk and prepares mitigation plans
  • Defines the SAP Platform team objectives in order to satisfy the overall technical requests in the program
  • Keeps the team in line with the strategic objectives according to the project needs
  • Owns and delivers all SAP Platform related activities supporting the overall program
  • Build and retain an SME capability and provide resources (to that function)
  • Verification of technical solution options and recommendation for project management décisions
  • Identification, analysis and management of the constraints, risks and issues
  • Leads the overall technical design supporting all the functional streams
    • Contribute to the technical workshops, design sessions and the delivery of the technical scope
    • Tracks quality and delivery of relevant IT milestones 

Scope of the job regarding the actual ERP program :

  • Provides technical point of view for Program Leadership and Advisory Board to arbitrate on technical design and configuration.
  • Manages the required technical integration (overall technical tool strategy, guidelines, monitoring) with all necessary Legacy Systems, ensuring correct planning, sequencing as well as suggesting architectural modification (landscape simplification, upgrades, consolidations)
  • Supports the handover between project phase and system maintenance phase
  • Actively develops the team of technical experts and supports the transition from the project to Center of Expertise

Profil recherché


  • BAC+5 : IT education
  • Senior – 10-15 years of team leader-ship in IT (Mandatory)
  • Strong experience of international / multi cultural contexts
  • Strong experience of provider management
  • Strong experience of project management (RFP, roadmaps ….)
  • Experience of support processes (operations, user support, contracts management ….)
  • Relational skills, team-work oriented and collaborative,  Multi-cultural experience

Needed experience :

  • >15 years of professional experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development and in SAP environment
  • >5 years of experience in similar management positions
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle 

Wished Technical & Human skills :

  • SAP implementation and maintenance experience in technical area (technical  knowledge in the area development, basis, release management, integration,  SAP tools.
  • Several past full lifecycle implementations of ERP. Managed onshore and offshore 3rd party teams (SI).
  • Multi-brand, multi-national experience a plus.
  • Familiar with SAP Solution Manager
  • Proven communication skills, flexible, inspiring team player, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-company work teams toward task completion
